6 Rules Of Photography

Simplicity

I chose this this picture to show "simplicity" because in the examples on the website they had backgrounds that didn't interfere with the background of the photo. In this photo i think that the background is plain and helps the viewer focus on the subject of the photo.

The Rule Of Thirds

I chose this picture to show "The Rule Of Thirds" because on the website it said to imagine your picture in 3 lines going up and down and side to side and try to make sure that the subject is on one of the lines that intersect . For this photo i think the photographer was using "The Rule Of Thirds" when he took the picture because it looks like the fireman would fall on one of the intersecting lines.

Lines

I chose this picture to show "Lines" because on the website it shoes the difference in the way you take pictures and the different angles can really make a difference especially if you're dealing with lines. On the website it says that diagonal lines are more dynamic. Even though theses lines aren't dynamic i think it was still taken at a good angle.

Balanced

I Chose this picture to show "Balanced" because on the website it shows pictures that are more attractive , show geometric shapes, and are actually balanced. In this picture i felt like it was "Balanced" because i feel like the building in the background balances the bigger and closer building. Also i think this picture has a lot of rectangles in it.

Framing

I chose this picture to show "Framing" because on the website it shows different pictures in different spacings, adding depth to the picture. i think the photographer purposely took this picture further way so it could add depth to the photo.

Avoiding Mergers

I chose this picture to shoe "Mergers" because on the website it says that when you take pictures you want to leave space on the edges to give the subject room and make it not look like they are about to run off the picture. In this picture you can see only half of bodies and peoples faces are cut off.
