Magazine Covers

Early Magazine Covers were not as Flashy as they are today. In the 18th Century when the first magazines started to be published the cover page only consisted of a table on contents. Magazines Then Didn't have the type of pictures that todays Magazine covers do, the photos then usually were black and white.

The Poster Cover refers to a type of cover of a Magazine, They Were "Pictures That Need No Words". This type of cover was seen more often then others in the 1890s up until the 1960 when this cover became less popular.

Pictures Married To Type of magazine cover that was more popular in the 1900. These covers had more words on them then most covers. But the words on the cover were mainly the people that contributed to making the cover.

In The Forest Of Words is a type of Magazine cover that was introduced when the title of the magazine was referred to what was going on in the picture. The covers of these increasing started become more daring.
